All the questions are not equally important. Make sure you know which questions are the ones serving the core objective. Those should be emphasised. For instance, information about the cleanliness of a reception area is much more important from the customer satisfaction perspective than the cleanliness of a stock room, although the questions might be in the same checklist. With the right emphasis, the right information can be gathered to promote decision-making.
You can use Excel for your checklists. Many apps promise to handle your to-do list, but do you really need yet another app? Even if you don’t want to use it as an everyday to-do list app, a checklist is a good way to keep track of what you still need to do in your spreadsheet, directly in the spreadsheet itself.
